This hooded cowl comes in one adult size with a gauge of 6 stitches to the inch over the colorwork section. Although there are many techniques used in this hood like stranded colorwork, Latvian braid, grafting, and steeking, they are all well explained and small, manageable amounts of each technique. Yarn requirements: For the 2-color hood, you'll need 420 yards of worsted weight yarn in the main color and 210 yards of the contrast color. I used Plymouth Galway Worsted. For the 3-color hood, you'll need 220 yards of worsted weight yarn in each color. I used Cascade Yarns Woolpaka. For the 5-color hood, one skein of 200 yards in each color should be plenty.
