Nougat

Nougat is a joyful exploration of texture and color, born from my love of intarsia and marling. By holding one strand of fingering-weight yarn together with one strand of fluffy mohair, I created a light, cozy fabric with beautiful depth. The checkerboard motif is worked using a simple form of intarsia, where only the mohair color changes, allowing the shades to softly interact across the surface. Playful yet refined, Nougat is a celebration of how small shifts in color can create a bold visual impact.
