The Hot Hot Water Bottle Cover is a beginner-friendly project that is perfect for using up your scraps. The pattern includes a colourwork chart but the letters can also be duplicate stitched at the end. Sizing: one size; to fit a 2l hot water bottle (around 20x25cm) Gauge: 20sts x 28rows in stockinette on 3.5mm circular needles = 10x10 cm Note that the cover is knit using magic loop, for which a cable length of 80-100cm is ideal. Yarn requirements: Use a yarn like Sandnes Garn Double Sunday (100% wool, 108m/50g), Filcolana Peruvian (100% wool, 100m/50g), Cascade 220 (100% wool, 201m/100g) or equivalent. This project is perfect for using up your leftovers from sweater projects. You will need around 70 grams in total, divided up between the three colours as follows: main colour (MC): 45g contrast colour 1 for stripes (CC 1): 19g contrast colour 2 for ‘hot’ (CC 2): 8g Other things you are going to need: tapestry needle
