Blackwork-style designs create the different “quilt fabrics” and a lacy picot border surrounds the afghan to complete the look. This afghan uses two main (background) colors and two contrasting (design) colors. A [YouTube tutorial][2] is also provided to explain color changes. This pattern provides both row-by-row written instructions as well as design charts for reference. Since this design has many diagonal stitches, it is recommended for someone who is comfortable with the interlocking filet mesh technique.
