The body has a little freckles / bobble pattern up to the armholes, the remainder of the cardigan is worked in st st. This would be suitable for the Intermediate knitter. SIZES (APPROX AGE) [A] -- 6-9 months [B] -- 9-12 months [C] -- 12-18 months [D] -- 2-3 years [E] -- 4-5 years MATERIALS REQUIRED Extra fine 8ply (DK) Merino yarn. Pictured garment was knitted in Sesia Nordica 125m / 137 yds per 50 gram. [A] -- 154 grams / 308 metres / 336 yards [B] -- 174 grams / 348 metres / 379 yards [C] -- 225 grams / 450 metres / 491 yards [D] -- 262 grams / 524 metres / 571 yards [E] -- 315 grams / 630 metres / 687 yards NEEDLES REQUIRED 3.5 mm (US 4) circular or straight needles. 3.75 mm (US 5 : UK 9) needles or straight needles. OTHER MATERIALS 5 [5 : 6 : 6 : 7] buttons, approx 12 mm (½ in) – 15 mm (¾ in) size. TENSION 23 sts / 30 rows = 10 cm (4 in) worked in stocking stitch on 3.75 mm (US 4) needles or size needles to obtain tension.
