Ustou is a slipover with a simple shape and a richly textured front, featuring a crossed-stitch motif that catches the light beautifully. The plain back and clean finishes bring balance to the design, making it both graphic and easy to wear. This pattern also holds a special place in my heart: it marks the beginning of a new collaboration with Walk Collection, whose Merino DK yarn has been a joy to knit with. I’m truly grateful for their kindness and support throughout this project. Named after a peaceful village tucked in the mountains, Ustou evokes both the strength of new bonds and the comfort of a cosy retreat. Ustou est un slipover à l’allure simple mais travaillée, avec tout le devant orné d’un motif de mailles croisées qui attrape joliment la lumière et structure le tricot. Le dos et les finitions plus sobres viennent équilibrer l’ensemble, pour un résultat à la fois doux, graphique et facile à porter. Ce modèle a aussi une valeur toute particulière à mes yeux : c’est le fruit d’une première collaboration avec Walk Collection, dont le fil Merino DK m’a accompagnée tout au long de ce projet. Leur confiance et leur enthousiasme ont rendu cette aventure encore plus joyeuse – et je les remercie sincèrement de m’avoir suivie dans cette exploration.
