**Knitting Pattern for a Reversible, Fitted and Cropped Sweater with Exciting Cut-Outs Shaped with Cables along the Front Parts (or Back Part), Fitted Sleeves and a Classic Round Neck in (XXS) XS | S | M (L | XL | 2XL) 3XL | 4XL | 5XL.** **Structure:** The sweater is worked top down in one piece in stockinette stitch: First, the front parts are worked with cut-outs shaped with cable crossings. The front parts are worked separately because of the cut-outs, you work increases to shape the round neck and increases to shape the armholes. When working the cable crossings, the front parts are joined for a few rows. When the front parts have reached the armpits, the back part is worked in one piece by picking up stitches along the shoulder of the front parts. The back part is worked in stockinette stitch without cut-outs, but with increases for the round neck (to make the design reversible) and with increases for the armholes. When the back part has reached the same length as the front parts, all parts are joined under the armpits. The sweater is now worked back and forth in rows with cut-outs along the front parts. This means, that the sweater is worked for 2 rounds in the round, before you will again work in rows. Finally, all stitches are bound off with an I-cord edging. Then, stitches are picked up along the armholes and the sleeves are worked with GSR. When the sleeves are worked in the round, you start to work decreases for a fitted sleeve shape and work in stockinette stitch in the round until the sleeves have reached your wrists. Then, bind off the sleeve stitches with an I-cord edging as well. Last, but not least, the round neck is finished with an applied I-cord edging matching sleeve cuffs and body hem. The fit of the sweater is close to the bust, emphasizing the female body shape by the neutral to negative ease. Additionally, the highlight of the design are the cut-outs flowing along the middle of the front parts – or at the middle of the back part in case you decide to wear your sweater the other way round. The length is cropped, making the design extra cool and stylish, especially in comparison to high waisted jeans and wide trousers. The sweater can be worked as a sleeveless tank top as well. Therefore, you will need around (2) 2 | 2 | 2 (3 | 3 | 3) 4 | 4 |4 balls less than recommended. **Level of Difficulty:** very advanced, the pattern is very complex.
