The Colour Theory Socks include these features: * Pie Heel - a stockinette aknitica heel with shaping lines that look a bit like wedges (hence the name) and give that great, diagonal stripe. * The complete instructions on how to knit any aknitica heel in a contrast colour, without cutting the main colour or making holes. * Top-down construction * Rhythmic texture with short repeats and alternating rest rows down the leg and top of foot (in case you're like me and need a little mild interest when knitting with solid colours) **Sizes** *Finished Circumference:* 7.5(8, 8.5, 9, 9.5, 10)” / 19(20.5, 21.5, 23, 24, 25.5) cm. Choose a size 0.5 - 1” / 1.25 - 2.5 cm smaller than actual foot circumference. Leg Length: 7” or desired length Foot Length: Adjustable to fit **Yarns** *Cuffs, Heels, and Toes:* Gauge Dye Works Trifecta Fingering in "Seventy-Six Round Trip" colourway. I used about 30 grams / 97 m / 106 yds to knit the pair pictured here, in size S. *Main Colour:* Malabrigo Sock in White. I used about 60 grams / 242 m / 252 yds to knit the pair pictures here, in size S. **Gauge** 32 sts and 44 rnds in 4 inches / 10 cm (8 sts and 11 rnds per inch)
