The front and back upper pieces are worked separately. The vest is worked Top-Down, starting with the shoulders. We begin by Casting On the stitches for one shoulder , and immediately work short rows to create the necessary shoulder slope. After both shoulders are shaped, increases are worked along the neckline and armhole edges until the required stitch count is reached. The pieces are then joined to work in flat, continuing to increase at the armhole edges until the final stitch count is achieved. Join both the front and back body pieces after they are finished, the work continues in the round/in flat (by your type) until the desired length is reached.
