In Three Ways shawl

*I create new crochet stitches to show a quieter, softer side of crochet: calm, simple, and casual. My patterns may look unusual at first only because the technique is new to you, just like your first chain or single crochet once was. After a little practice, it feels easy and natural.* I continue exploring new crochet textures made with the raised double crochet technique. This technique appears in Chapter 2 of the *[New Ways with Crochet][1]* book and in my [Leaf design series][2]. In Three Ways shawl is worked from one corner to the opposite side. It uses two stitch patterns - **textured lines and a twig pattern** - which you can combine to create **three different shawl options** (and you can easily explore your own combinations too). All three versions are written out separately and charted for your convenience.
