A simple slip-stitch pattern creates soft texture and a gentle fade effect, as one shade melts into the other like day fading into night. Worked entirely in garter stitch with rhythmic slipped stitches, it’s a relaxing knit that makes the most of minimal yarn, producing a graceful, easy-to-wear accessory with beautiful drape and subtle depth. **MATERIALS** **Recommended Yarn**: Knitting for Olive Merino 100% Extra Fine Merino **250 m**/ 273 yds/ 50 g/ 1.76 oz 2 balls in different colours. Shown in Soft Blue & Deep Petroleum Blue. **Needles and notions:** 3.25 mm (US 3), circular needle length 80-100 cm / 32-40 inches. Tapestry needle to sew in ends. **GAUGE** As a guide (after blocking): Using 3.25 mm (US 3) needles 26 sts & 52 rows to 10 cm / 4 inches in pattern.
