*Bonbon shawl is like a delicious, colourful piece of candy. In the shawl, ice cream cone shaped stitch pattern and garter stitch with yarnovers alternate with each other. Knitting starts from the top left corner, and the shawl gets wider and wider towards the bottom edge.* **YARN** - 2 skeins of Lucky Omen Yarns Alpakka (60% superwash merino, 20% superwash alpaca, 20% nylon; approx. 400m [437yds] per 100g), OR approx. 730m [798yds] of any fingering weight yarn. **SIZE** - height approx. 143,5cm/ 57.5”, width at the bottom edge approx. 125cm/50” **NEEDLES** - 3,5mm [US4] circular needles (100cm/40” or longer), or size needed to get gauge. **GAUGE** - approx. 15,5 sts & 40 rows = 10cm/4” in garter stitch, after blocking - gauge is not crucial since this is a shawl, but different gauge will affect the size of the shawl and the amount of yarn needed. **NOTIONS** - tapestry needle for weaving in the ends - stitch markers if you want to mark the pattern repeats ------------------------------------ *Kuin herkullinen ja värikäs karamelli, niin on myös Bonbon-huivi.
