*In music, triple time can set a graceful rhythm full of movement. This design takes that idea both literally and figuratively: it’s knit with lace-weight yarn triple-stranded on a large needle, creating a soft, airy fabric that feels effortless to wear. Like its companion design, [The Downbeat][1], it embodies simplicity and creative possibility - a steady rhythm you can make your own, whether you keep it classic or improvise your own variations.*
This piece features top-down, seamless raglan construction with short rows to shape the neckline. There is also the option to either add A-line body shaping or have no shaping.
> Here are just a few of the yarn combo options you
> could consider:
>
> * Triple-strand one color of lace-weight (as I've done in the
> photos here)
> * Triple-strand 2 or 3 different colors of lace-weight together ([check
> out this version from one of my
> testers][2])
> * Double-strand a DK/Worsted with a lace-weight ([check out these
> swatches][3]).
> * Use a single-strand of aran or bulky-weight yarn ([as I did in this
> version][4]).
