The socks are worked cuff-down with a heel flap and gusset, and offer three toe options. As in the previous series, they are also reversible. When turned inside out, the socks show the combination of 1×1 ribbing and reverse stockinette stitch on the outside. Video tutorial links are included. See page 5 for the schematic. *Note: neji_rib: It is a coined word for “nejiri-me” and “rib”. Nejiri-me means twisted stitches in Japanese.* The pattern includes options below; Toe: Standard Wedge Toe, Easy Toe (no grafting), Tabi-toe Cuff Option: ruffle cuff ＳＩＺＥＳ 1 (2, 3, 4) Finished foot circumference (unstretched): approx. 15.5 (16.5, 17.5, 19.5) cm / 6 (6½, 7, 7¾)” Finished foot and leg length: You can knit to your desired length Corresponds to an actual foot circumference: approx. 21 (22.5, 24, 25.5) cm / 8½ (9, 9½, 10¼)” Recommended fit: 5.5 cm/2¼“ of negative ease at foot circumference, 1.5-2 cm/¾-1” of negative ease at sock sole length *Note: The sample is shown in size 2 for a 22.5 cm foot circumference with 6 cm/2½“ negative ease* ＹＡＲＮ 240 (250, 260, 290) m / 260 (275, 285, 315) yds of Fingering weight yarn *Note: Yarn used may vary depending on the leg and sole length* ＧＡＵＧＥ 33 sts & 44 rows = 10 cm / 4” in stockinette st 41-45 sts = 10 cm / 4” in twisted ribbing (unstretched) ＮＥＥＤＬＥ ＆ ＴＯＯＬＳ 2–2.25 mm, 80 cm/32” circular needle: Choose the needle size that gives you the suggested gauge.
