**The Valse Shawl is a light and refined triangular scarf, shown here knit with La Bien Aimée’s Lace yarn (just one skein is enough). Its design gracefully combines lace and cables in a fluid, dancing motif. Like all You Knit To Learn shawls, its endless construction adapts to whatever yardage you have — down to the very last gram. You can knit it in a light and sophisticated version with fine yarn, or go for a cozier feel with a thicker yarn. The pattern flows naturally as the repeats progress, making it a rhythmic, accessible, and highly adaptable project. It measures 150 cm (59 in). **Yarn choice:** You can use any yarn weight you like — the final size will depend on the yardage you have available.
