Stylish Lacy Shawl

This is a semi-circular/crescent shawl. It can be made with any yarn weight – fingering/sport/DK yarn. The hook used should be at least 2mm bigger than normally used for the yarn choice. This gives a light airy drape to the shawl. The sample was made using DK yarn and a 7mm hook. It measures 152 cms (60”) across the arm span and 63 cms (25”) across the depth. The size can be customised easily and it can be made in one or more colours. Gauge is not important. However if the gauge/yarn/hook are different from what is listed, the finished piece will be of a different size than given. Stitch markers are used to help with the increases without having to count the exact number for each round.
