Seaglass is triangle shawl with a Garter Tab Cast On and a modified ratio of increases along the edges and the central spine to achieve its wide, shallow shape. The design features main body worked in intricate lace cables in MC, and panels of shifting, wave-like twisted knit ribbing in CC to accentuate the edge. The shawl is finished with a dainty applied lace border in MC. **SIZE** Wingspan: 80” (203 cm). Depth: 26½” (67 cm). Side Edge: 48” (123 cm). **YARN & YARDAGE** Life In The Long Grass (LITLG) Merino Linen Singles [10% linen, 90% superwash merino wool; 400 yds (366 m) per 100 g skein]. Total of 3 skeins, 1200 yds (1098 m). **Main Colour:** Grit, 800 yds (732 m) – 2 skeins. **Contrast Colour:** Connemara Marble, 400 yds (366 m) – 1 skein. **NEEDLES** US 2.5 (3 mm) circulars with 32” (80 cm) cable (or size to obtain a close gauge). One US 2.5 (3 mm) DPN (for the applied lace border). **GAUGE** 24 sts x 32 rows = 4” (10 cm) in main body st after blocking OR 26 sts x 30 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stockinette after blocking.
