Chloe is the nickname of the Greek goddess Demeter, the goddess of the earth, seeds, and seasons. Since these colorful lanterns beautify our garden at home (where everything grows on its own), I decided on this name. In this tutorial, I will show you how to crochet the lantern pictured above. The instructions consist of two parts. In the first part, I will describe how I crocheted the lantern for the typical yoghurt jars you can find in most Austrian and German supermarkets. I will guide you step by step. In the second part of the instructions, I explain how you can adapt the pattern to other jars that differ from the examples shown here in both diameter and height. Two to three lanterns can be made from a 50g ball of yarn, making this a great project for crocheting a small gift. **MATERIAL** Cotton that can be crocheted with a 3.00 mm needle. Sample one (fuchsia red): Gründl Cotton Quick Print with a yardage of approx. 273 yards per 100 g. Two lanterns can be made from a 50 g ball. Sample two (yellow): hobbii Friends Cotton 8/4 Print with a yardage of approx. 350 yards per 100 g. Three lanterns can be made from a 50 g ball **GAUGE** No gauge swatch is required for this small lantern. You can start directly and measure the size after the first two rounds. After the first two rounds, the lantern should measure approximately 3.3 cm / 1.3 inch in diameter.
