Mawka (Mavka) shawl and scarf

Mawka is a pattern in two versions - for a classic triangular shawl and for a rectangular scarf. The design is light, openwork, with an effective plant motif built primarily from post stitches and puffs. The name of this pattern refers to a type of Slavic demons - in some versions they are associated with the forest, in others with water. To make the shawl you need 1200-1600 m of yarn. To make the scarf you need 1500-1800 m of yarn. Pattern in pdf format, in Polish and English.
