The Latvian Braid Stripe is called out in the pattern as individual headlines. Instructions: 1. Row 1: Knit one stitch with the main color (MC) and one stitch with the complementary color (CC), repeating from the beginning to the last stitch. 2. Row 2: Knit one stitch with the MC, bring the CC over the MC, knit one stitch with the CC, bring the MC over the CC, repeating from the beginning to the last stitch. 3. Row 3: Purl one stitch with the MC, bring the CC over the MC, purl one stitch with the CC, bring the MC over the CC, repeating from the beginning to the last stitch. The direction of the braid's arrows can be changed by twisting the yarns in rows. For example, to make a left-leaning braid, reverse the way the yarns are carried. It's also important to note that the yarns will twist together as the braid is worked, but this is part of the decorative effect and they will untwist on their own on the next row. The yarn in this video is Organic Cotton Sport in color No. 214 Drift and No. 224 Indigo. The needle used is a size 6 (4mm).
