This little shawlette was designed as a quick, uncomplicated BREATHER to enjoy between larger, more complex projects. I found this project to be so relaxing that I couldn't stop casting it on! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. This pattern was designed for fingering, dk, or bulky weight yarn. HOWEVER, **it is easily adaptable to any weight yarn**. The stitch counts and dimensions in this pattern were designed to use **one skein of fingering or DK weight yarn** OR **two skeins of bulky weight yarn** to create a shawlette that can be wrapped one time around the neck. This pattern will also make a lovely, larger shawl if you use more yarn. Let your yarn stash and your needles be your guide! The Breather shawlette features a rolled upper edge, side-to-side construction, a simple lace border, and lots of relaxing garter stitch.
