AMV Shortie Socks

The Angela Makes Vanilla (AMV) Shorties are a free vanilla shortie sock pattern. It is accompanied by a [video tutorial][1] (https://youtu.be/E4myhLYiJms) with the aim of showing you how I knit socks. I really struggled when I started knitting socks and watched many video tutorials. I am hoping this will help at least one of you who are starting out (or restarting) your sock knitting journey. This can also be extended to a full sock if this is what you prefer to wear, just remember you will need more than the recommended sock yarn. Instructions are included for three different sizes: * Small: 7" foot circumference * Medium: 8" foot circumference * Large: 9" foot circumference These socks were a Medium, UK5 (EU38) so if you are knitting socks for a larger foot, or the Large size you will need a little extra yarn. I have been generous with the amount of yarn presented below. Yarn used in Sample: MC yarn is Rico Alpaca Art Sock yarn: 400m/100g, 55% wool, 25% polyamide, 25% alpaca All other yarn is Sock/4ply yarn 425m / 100g, 75% merino, 25% nylon For both socks: 6g for the cuff, 25g of main, 8g for heel and 8g for toe [1]: https://youtu.be/E4myhLYiJms
