Mellow Vest

Die Mellow Vest wird von oben nach unten gestrickt. Du strickst zuerst die Rückseite von den Schulterschrägen aus bis zu dem Ende der Armausschnitte nach unten. Danach nimmst du neue Maschen entlang der Rückseitigen Schultermaschen für die Vorderseite auf. Beide Vorderteile werden dann separat und bis zum Ende des Armauschnittes gestrickt. Dann werden alle Maschen auf die selbe Rundstricknadel gelegt und du strickst den Rumpf in Reihen bis zu deiner Wunschlänge. Du kannst sie so deiner Wunschlänge individuell anpassen. Gestrickt wird sie aus Boucle Garn. Du kannst während des Strickens ein oder mehrere Knopflöcher stricken oder später auch durch einen Knebelknopf nachträglich eine Knopfoption annähen. Oder du lässt sie komplett ohne Knopf. Am Ende kannst du um die gesamte Weste und die Armöffnungen eine Blende stricken. Dies erkläre ich dir zusätzlich in dem beigefügten Video. Then you pick up stitches at the shoulders for both fronts which are knit separately, also to the end of the armholes. All stitches are placed on a circular knitting needle to join the fronts and the back. The body is worked flat to your desired length. I used boucle yarn for my design, but you can use any other yarn. You can make one or more buttonholes in the front or add a toggle button after the vest is finished or make a buttonless vest. To finish the garment, you will knit a double band around the edges of the body and the armholes. Please look at the video tutorial for more detailed instructions.
