Homecoming is a boomerang shawl created using two skeins of DK weight yarn: a solid color skein and a color-change skein, both 260yds. The shell edge of the shawl is worked at the same time as the shawl, resulting in only the start and ending threads to weave in. The boomerang shape represents the act of returning home, while the stripes indicate the hurdles that each family member encounters on their journey home.
