Cleopatra Shawl

Sometimes you need a shawl that will serve many more purposes than just to keep you warm. I needed a shawl to take with me for my desert holiday in Egypt. But it ended up being the shawl I wore for so many things I did in Egypt: for sightseeing, for going down to the restaurant for dinner, for keeping myself warm on a chilly evening, for showing off over my evening dress, for keeping my legs warm on the plane, just wearing it for any occasion, really. It was such a lovely shawl for any event. It is so luxurious to wear and it was fabulous to have with me on holiday. I made it in cotton and because of the fancy stitch it looked very luxurious and it still kept me warm or even cool from the sun. I did question my decision of making this in the ‘honey’ colour but I am so glad I persevered because it was the perfect colour matching all the desert colours in Egypt. I had visions of me wearing this shawl in the desert in front of the pyramids and it became reality! Length 210 cm / 84 inch Width 65 cm / 26 inch Weight 593 g
