Haku Dragon

This pattern is a variation of the “Chinese Paper Dragon”, designed for Year of the Dragon (2024). From Spirited Away, as a river spirit, Haku possessed supernatural powers that are primarily associated with the element of water. This crochet pattern is for personal use only, please do not redistribute or resell it in any form. The pattern is written in US terminology, and is worked in continuous rounds, unless otherwise stated. Approximate size of the Haku, using the listed materials below, is 5cm (2inches) tall by 30cm (12inches) in length. Tools & Materials • 4.5mm Hook • Scissors • Tapestry Needle • Stitch Marker • 9mm Safety Eyes x2 • Toy Stuffing • White Yarn - Head/Ears/Snout-Top/Moustache/Tail • Light Grey Yarn - Snout-Top • Dark Grey Yarn - Body • Cream Yarn - Horns • Teal Yarn - Fur • Light Pink Yarn - Feet/Nose • Pink Yarn - Cheeks • Slicker Brush • Bamboo Skewers x2 • Glue You may use alternative yarn and colours but be sure to use the appropriate hook size.
