Frizzle Socks

**ABOUT THE PATTERN** This pattern is for an effortless and elegant pair of socks, yet with an interesting twist. Socks are worked toe-up in the round using the magic loop technique, with a peasant heel added at the very end. My favorite part is the mock ruffles part. The socks are knitted in four sections - toe, foot, leg and heel. **SIZES** 1 (2, 3) Fits 18 (20, 22.5) cm / 7 (8, 9)” at the widest part of the foot, to be worn with 2 (1.5) 1 cm / 0.75 (0.75, 0.5” negative ease. **MEASUREMENTS (unstretched)** * foot circumference: 16 (18.5, 21.5) cm / 6.25 (7.25, 8.5)” * leg length: adjustable * foot length: adjustable **GAUGE** 30 stitches x 42 rounds in stockinette on 2.25 mm / US 1 needles = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” after blocking knitted in the round. **NEEDLES** 2.25 mm / US 1 circular needles with a 80 cm / 32” cord (magic loop). **YARN** 1 skein of PREMIUM Cashmere by REGIA (65% wool, 25% polyamide, and 10% cashmere - 100 g / 400 m [437 yds]. The sample was knitted with REGIA PREMIUM Cashmere in Lipstick Red color.
