Burdock Tank

Featuring a two-colour slip-stitch stripe pattern, Burdock is both simple to knit and wear. I chose to use Brooklyn Tweed’s Dapple yarn for this design—a DK-weight wool and cotton blend which is adaptable for multi-season styling. Wear the Burdock Tank as is or layered over a long-sleeve top or shirt depending on your style and the season. **Yarn** **Colours 1&2 (C1&C2)** Brooklyn Tweed Dapple 60% Merino wool, 40% organic cotton DK weight 150m / 165yds per 50g / 1.76oz ball **C1 –** 370 (410, 470, 510, 655) (705, 800, 860, 1010)m / 405 (450, 515, 560, 715) (770, 875, 940, 1105)yds of “Plinth” (grey) **C2 –** 225 (255, 325, 355, 520) (565, 640, 690, 915)m / 245 (280, 355, 390, 570) (620, 700, 755, 1000)yds of “Medallion” (yellow) Please note there is a 15% buffer added to these yarn amounts. **Gauge** 21 sts and 35 rows = 10cm / 4” in Slip-Stitch Stripe Pattern (worked flat) using larger needle after blocking. 22 sts and 32 rows = 10cm / 4” in 1X1 Twisted Rib (worked in the round) using smaller needle after blocking. Sample shown in Size 2, 91.5cm / 36” worn with approximately 5cm / 2” of positive ease. To achieve the same look as the sample, choose a similar amount of ease. If between sizes, choose the next larger size for a looser fit, or smaller size for a closer fit.
