Cryssi Crochet Motif Shawl

If you have been around the Marly Bird team, you all know how much we love Cryssi Jeffries. She makes working at Marly Bird so much brighter and happier. Over the years the 3 of us have become such fast friends that when we see something cool in crochet we leap to telling each other. Naming our shawl after Cryssi and her love of crochet was just the natural thing to do. The motif shawl is made of 4 different motifs that are joined as you go on the bias. Each motif is totally unique from each other. There is texture, lace, and color exploding in every direction. We broke up the pattern into 6 parts to help keep you on track and break the project into smaller much more manageable amounts of stitching. Today you will start with one of my favorites the Popcorn Motif. That motif is bursting with personality and I can't wait to see all of yours! A word to the wise, DO NOT be like me and wait to weave in your ends. Weave them in after each motif, consider the motif not done until they are woven in.
