Anthozoan Socks

These socks went through 4-5 different iterations before I was happy with the pattern. I originally did not want to add any eyelets or lace, but the ideas I had just didn’t look right. Finally, I added the lace bits, and the yarn was finally satisfied. When I finally showed the first sock to the yarn dyer who created this sock set, she revealed that the name of the sock set was Coral Cove, and asked if I had meant to make the lace look like coral. It wasn't a conscious decision, but perhaps my subconscious was guiding me.
