Swell

Swell is a simple asymmetric bias triangle shawl that uses the innovative concept of assigned pooling. Assigned pooling occurs when a change in texture is isolated within changes in color in a specially dyed skein of variegated yarn. In this case, stockinette stitch is assigned to the main color to create a smooth backdrop for the linen stitch assigned to the accent color. Swell looks great on both sides! Wear it right side out to show off the linen stitch or wear it with the reverse side showing to emphasize the dotted lines.
