Trento Vest

Let’s knit a Cosy Vest together for free ! This sleeveless sweater has a distinctive folded collar and has been especially designed for beginner knitters but not only. It is worked in the round from bottom to top for the main part then back and forth for the front and back. The collar and sleeve edges are picked up in the round from the body stitches. The finished sweater is between 52cm/20.5in and 62cm/24.4in high by between 47cm/18.5in and 68cm/26.8in wide. Intructions are provided every size between S and XXXL. For the pictured model, I used four strands : two of sock merino, one of brushed alpaca silk and one of mohair. The point for me was to make it destash friendly and also make it look cozy yet modern. You can choose to subtitute with only one bulky yarn or one medium+one lace to keep the cosyness for example. To knit it, you’ll just need a set of circular needles 6mm/US10 and 5mm/US8. As the needles are quite big, this project is a pretty fast one yet the final result is stuning. The instructions exist both in french and english.
