Sample is in Merino in Soft Rose colorway **Needles:** 3 mm / US2.5 circular needles, or in size to obtain gauge **Gauge (after blocking):** 28 sts and 38 rows = 10 cm [4”] in st st with 3 mm / US2.5 needles **Notions:** Stitch markers, tapestry needle, safety pin, elastic for the waistband (2.5 cm [1”] wide) Olive’s Swing Skirt is a short and simple skirt in stockinette stitch with plenty of width for twirling. It is worked in the round from the top down using 1 strand of Merino, Cotton Merino or Pure Silk. You start with the folded waistband, shape the skirt with increases and short rows before finishing with a picot edge. The waistband has an elastic inserted.
