Moon cloud shawl

*The Moon Cloud shawl has been designed with my signature mini skeins fading advent, but I loved the pattern so much I really wanted to decline it in other variations. A 4- or 5-color fade, to use those pretty 4 or 5 skeins fades sleeping in your stash, or the simple yet stunning one color version, to let the simplicity of the pattern shine. The 24 mini skeins fade is only written for the Large size, since you will need room to slowly fade all your 24 colors. But the 4- or 5-color fade version and the one color version are both written for 2 sizes. * YARN - 24 mini skeins fade version (Large size only) : **Total yardage : 361g = 1535 m / 1678 yds** Requires 24 mini skeins of fingering weight, 20g each, preferably a fade but it's your shawl, go with the flow :) - 4-color fade version (Small size only) : **Total yardage 265g = 1126 m / 1232 yds** Color 1 : 65g = 276 m / 302 yds Color 2 : 86g = 363 m / 397 yds Color 3 : 79g = 336 m / 367 yds Color 4 : 35g = 147 m / 160 yds - 5-color fade version (Large size only) : **Total yardage : 365g = 1331 m / 1455 yds** Color 1 : 63g = 229 m / 250 yds Color 2 : 93g = 339 m / 370 yds Color 3 : 97g = 357 m / 390 yds Color 4 : 78g = 283 m / 309 yds Color 5 : 34g = 123 m / 134 yds - one color version (Small and Large sizes available) : **Total yardage : 265g = 1126 m / 1232 yds** Small size : 3 skeins of fingering weight. **Total yardage : 361g = 1535 m / 1678 yds** Large size : 4 skeins of fingering weight. If you want to knit this version with lace + fingering held double you will need the same yardage for lace weight yarn. NEEDLES & NOTIONS 4mm / US #6 needles with an 80 cm / 32” cable Tapestry needle, 2 stitch markers, a locking progress keeper. GAUGE Garter stitch : 23 sts & 38 rows = 10 cm / 4”, Mesh eyelet stripes : 22 sts & 34 rows = 10cm /4”. Both measurements taken after blocking.
