Want something that works up FAST and you can wear alone or layered for an everyday amazing look? Then check out the Malibu Barbie Bralette!!! **CONSTRUCTION** The Malibu Barbie Bralette is a boxy, loose fitting, crochet Vneck bralette. It is crocheted flat, top down in quarter panels (cup panels), which are then joined to make the front panel. The back panel is crocheted flat and the 2 panels are seamed together. Crochet edging and straps are added last. **DIFFICULTY LEVEL** Adventurous Beginner **A FEW NOTES ON GAUGE AND SIZING** Every crocheter has a different tension. It’s more important that you meet gauge than stress over the recommended size hook or the recommended yarn. Always gauge swatch!!! Gauge (blocked): 6 Granny Sts x 11 rows of gauge pattern = 4” swatch The Malibu Barbie Bralette is intended to have 0-2” of positive ease around the bust and is cropped to hit 3.5” above the natural waist for a slightly boxy, comfortable fit. Choose a size that is 0-2” more than your bust to ensure the intended fit. If you are between sizes, I suggest sizing down. Designer is wearing a size 5, is 5’10” tall and has a 44” bust. If your body measurements are outside the pattern sizes listed, please contact me and I will size the pattern for your body measurements at no additional cost. Finished Garment Measurements: Bust Measurement - 1, 2, 3 (4, 5, 6) [7, 8, 9] 30”, 34”, 38” (42”, 46”, 50”) [54”, 58”, 62”] **SUGGESTED YARN AND YARDAGE** The best yarn for this design is fingering weight yarn that will give a nice drape. I used Superglow Fiber Sparkle Singles (95% superwash merino, 5% stellina) for the pink sample and Hobbii Baby Cotton (100% Egyptian Cotton) for the white sample.
