Flowerful Shawl

This Flowerful Shawl uses Breakaway Crochet Method techniques to work continuous motifs that are joined-as-you-go. Working this in red means the flowers resemble poinsettias so would make a lovely accent for the Christmas holiday season. Other colours would also be attractive for other occasions. It is a trapezoid-shaped shawl that is made up of hexagonal motifs, which involve some unusual techniques to work them. Although the specified yarn is no longer available, the Holst Garn Coast should be a good substitute (at least 5 balls as an estimated amount). Any fingering weight SOLID COLOUR or semi solid-coloured sock yarn would also be a lovely alternative.
