St Francis Mosaic Crochet

This is my 10th placemat design. It can also be used for a table runner or throw. While I was not allowed to be designing or crocheting, according to my family. I have decided to make this a free pattern. Even though it is free, it is still my design and therefore under copyright. I have used this pattern in a tutorial to explain overlay mosaic crochet to those that may have not tried it before. It is a simple 12 stitch repeat. I used 100% cotton DK. 125m / 50g. Approx 90g of each colour (2 colours used). I used the reversible method which requires more yarn. Non reversible would require about 75 g of each colour. For 1 placemat. You will receive: A photo tutorial on the basics of overlay mosaic using the St Francis design, including how to read the chart and written pattern. 2 charts (1 standard marked with X's and 1 marked with R's as well for reversible) Written pattern, including instructions for the reversible stitch.
