One Row Shawl

As a designer, I often refer to myself as "a Pooh of very little brain." I can't help it--I love patterns with easy repeats that I don't have to think too hard about, and when those patterns turn out looking amazing, it makes me beyond happy. So I am beyond happy to present you with the One Row Shawl, and it does what it says on the tin. After the foundation is set, you just do the same row. Memorize it in a snap. Put it down and pick it back up without having to remember what row you left off on, and a thing of beauty once it's blocked. The amount of yarn you use is variable as well. For a smaller shawl, this is totally a one-skeiner (100g). If you like more fullness, you might need to dig into a second skein. The brown shawl pictured used approximately 4.5oz. Additionally, this pattern contains a slight variation on the original--the original being very lacy, the variation is more solid--so you get two great-looking shawls, both for free!
