Mystical Lanterns Shawl

Jane used a repeating tessellating design in this shawl, known as an 'Ogee' pattern in Arabesque design. It took her a few weeks to get the design of the blocks right; initially she came up with loads of really complicated ways to create the motif but in the end it was so simple! The stitches used in this design are ch, ss, dc, tr and dtr. Also available as a scarf or blanket.
