**Zirka** is a triangular shawl worked from the bottom up in the filet crochet technique. It has no obvious right or wrong side and can be made to any size. **Materials** - Yarn: light fingering; 440 yards (402 m) per 100 g skein; 100% merino wool (unbranded) - Hook: U.S. E/4 (3.5 mm) - Yarn needle to weave in ends **Gauge** 8 blocks (24 sts) and 9 rows = 4'' (10cm) x 4'' (10cm) The exact same gauge is not critical for this design. The measurements listed below are only guidelines and you can make this shawl smaller/larger by working fewer/more row repeats of the stitch pattern.
