For pattern support please go to the questions thread [here][1]. **update 08/03: Danish translation added** ...designed for the Stitch 'n Bitch weekend in Paris? *I was in Paris from October 2nd to October 4th for a knitting retreat with some of my lovelies, and the goal was to design something we could knit within this weekend while giggling, babbling and having a glass of wine (or even two….hahaha)* This shawl is easy to adjust to your liking (or the yarn amount you have on hand)....add more or less rows to each Garter Pattern Stripe, or to the Lace Pattern Stripes, work more or less repeats of the pattern section, OR do more or less rows of the edge section...it's all up to you Yarn DK version: approx. 750 yds (690 m) Fingering version: approx. 915 yds (840 m) Needles DK version: US 8 (5 mm) circular needle, 40 in (100 cm) long Fingering version: US 5 (3.75 mm) circular needle, 40 in long Gauge DK version: 15 sts x 32 rows (in Garter Pattern after blocking) Fingering version: 19 sts x 38 rows (in Garter Pattern after blocking) Gauge isn't crucial for this project, but will affect yardage and final size when different. Size DK version: approx. 90 in (230 cm) long and 31.5 in (80 cm) deep. Fingering version: approx. 90 in (230 cm) long and 29 in (74 cm) deep.
