Mini Hearthstone

**UPDATE May 2019:** The pattern has been updated to improve the overall shape of the hearthstone while at the same time simplifying the instructions. Instructions for a new alternate version is also available which has the swirl moving clockwise to match the hearthstones in the game. ____________________________________________ World of Warcraft fans rejoice because now you can have a mini hearthstone of your own! I haven't yet figured out how to enchant these, so they won't be able to actually teleport you anywhere. If you happen to figure it out, please do let me know! The Mini Hearthstone pattern is worked in the round and all in one piece with no sewing involved. As with most amigurumi, the gauge and size doesn’t much matter as long as you use the right size hook for the yarn of your choosing that will create a nice dense fabric. With this in mind, you can work as big or as small as you’d like. The sample pictured here using the recommended materials required less than 15 yards of scrap yarn and yielded a cute little hearthstone measuring about 3cm across from top to bottom.
