Turkey Earflap Hat

Skill Level: Easy Size: 0 – 3 months, 3 – 6 months, 6 months – 12 months, 12 months – 3 years, 3 years - 10 years, Teen/Adult ***NOTE!!! I tend to crochet loosely. If you find that you crochet tighter, you may want to switch to a larger hook to get the correct size! Materials Needed: - 1 skein Aran weight (#4) yarn (Color A – Silver Grey) (I used Lion Brand “Vanna’s Choice” for this hat.) - Small amount of White for Eyes - Small amount of each of the following colors (One color for each of the Curly Feathers…Cranberry, Mustard, Chocolate, Honey, Terracotta or Rust) - Small amount of Cranberry for Wattle - Small amount of Terracotta or Rust for Edging around hat - Small amount of Radiant Yellow or Radiant Orange for the Braids or Claw Ties - Small amount of Mustard or Radiant Yellow for the Beak - Crochet Hook, Size H/5.00 mm (for all sizes) - 2 Buttons (For the Eyes) Refer to pictures for options for eyes….black round buttons; colored flower buttons, or whatever you choose to add unique personality to your turkey! - 2 Yarn Needles (Large one used for working in loose yarn ends and smaller one for sewing eyes to hat.)
