It is knit diagonally using yarn overs, decreases and lots and lots of garter stitch. You start at one end and continue knitting until you run out of yarn or sooner if you reach the desired length. You will need 4.00mm needles and a minimum of 700 meters of DK yarn. Pictured shawls knit with 4.00mm needles and 700 meters DK yarn. Measurements after blocking: 77 inches across 25 inches deep.
