We’ve knit it on the bias so the edges don’t roll and it sits nicely on the shoulders. Light as air, it folds up to nearly nothing, and is equally talented at dressy and casual—the perfect piece for travel. YARN 2 skeins Rowan Kidsilk Haze (229 yds/210m each). Shown in lavender 589 Majestic. Or approx. 350 yds/320m of an equivalent lace-weight mohair yarn. For a non-mohair option, try Lang Yarns Alpaca Superlight (shown in yellow): 2 skeins Lang Yarns Alpaca Superlight, color 11. NEEDLES & NOTIONS Size J (6mm) crochet hook for provisional cast-on. US 10½ (6.5mm) circular needles, or size to get gauge. Another circular needle to hold stitches while grafting. GAUGE Approx. 12 sts = 4"/10cm in stockinette stitch, after blocking.
