**About**: A breezy, oversized drop-shoulder sweater with a vintage-inspired collar. The sweater is knitted top-down in one piece, with the only seam being at the base of the crossover v-neck. The upper back and shoulders are knitted flat, then joined in the round, and the sleeves are picked up and knitted in the round. It can be knitted with or without stripes! **Gauge**: 4” x 4” / 10 cm x 10 cm square, with US 8 needles: 16 stitches, 23 rows **Needles**: US 8 / 5 mm needles with 22"+/55+cm cable (for knitting the body) US 7 / 4 mm needles with 22"+/55+cm cable (for knitting the body ribbing) US 8 / 5 mm needles & US 7 / 4.5 mm needles with an 8” / 20 cm cable for knitting the sleeves - or use magic loop with your longer cable, or use DPNs **Yarn**: Used for sample: Wool And The Gang Shiny Happy Cotton (100% cotton, heavy worsted / aran) - feel free to swap out for another yarn and fiber, as long as it meets gauge! You can also hold multiple yarns together (like a worsted weight yarn with a lace-weight mohair). Cotton is great for a summer layer, or wool + mohair add some winter coziness. See sizing chart in photos for yarn estimates. **Sizes & Fit**: The sweater is meant to be worn with 6”-8” (15-20 cm) of positive ease at the bust, and 5.5” (14cm) of positive ease on the sleeves.
