First, the lace border is worked in rows, then the body is worked directly onto the lace border in rounds. To shape back and front parts, the body of the bralette is then worked back and forth in rows. Then, front and back part are finished in two parts to work the V neck and the armholes on both sides. Last but not least, the straps are worked in double knitting and sewn to the back parts with the mattress stitch. The fit of the bralette is comfortable due to the neutral (or minimal) positive or negative ease.
