The pattern on the circular yoke and the color make me think of trees and grass in the spring forest, and therefore I think MORIKO (“Child of the Forest” in Japanese) is a perfect name for my new pattern. It is a seamless top-down sweater with a scalloped neckline and an intricate lace pattern on the yoke while the rest is made in simple stockinette. I included charts and video tutorials on how to hide the holes in your lace yoke, should you prefer this option. My sample is made with 3/4 sleeves, but the top-down construction allows you to choose the length of sleeves and body according to your preferences. The ease across all the sizes is 8.5-10 cm/3.5-4”. The picture shows size 3 with 9.5 cm/3.75” of positive ease.
