Cool and Curly Socks

This is a pay what you can pattern so you can get it for free on my store. The Cool and Curly socks are a vanilla sock design with a twist, a cuff with a curly edge. You have two different design options for this pattern, either plain stockinette or half-twisted rib. The pattern comes with instructions on how to knit both cuff down and toe up. *VERSIONS* – VERSION 1: Stockinette Cuff Down – VERSION 2: Stockinette Toe Up – VERSION 3: Half Twisted Rib Cuff Down – VERSION 4: Half Twisted Rib Toe Up *SIZING* This pattern is available in 4 sizes which determine the width of the sock. The length is fully customizable. If you can’t measure the foot of the recipient, I have added a size guide to help you determine the length of your sock based on standard sizing. *SIZES* 1 (2) 3 (4) *MEASUREMENTS* Width – 17.5 (21) 23 (26) cm 6.8 (8.2) 9 (10.2) inches *SUGGESTED NEEDLES* 2.25 mm circular needles 80 or 100 cm cable (magic loop). or 2.25 mm circular needles 25 cm cable. or 2.25 mm DPNs *GAUGE* In stockinette in the round using 2.25 mm needles 32 sts / 45 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) In half twisted rib (*kbl, p*) in the round using 2.25 mm needles 33 sts / 45 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 cm) ATTENTION: Your swatch will look much smaller while you are knitting it. The gauge measurements given above are for a stretched blocked swatch. Your swatch will look much smaller while you are knitting it. *YARN* 60 gr of fingering weight sock yarn. The amount of yarn will vary depending on the length of the foot. The amount suggested above is based on the average used by testers.
