Stitches are increased down to the hem, ending with a folded edge creating a picot finishing. The difference between samples 1 and 2 is that sample 2 has an optional bobble and a longer depth of picot edge. When Aimée came to Japan, she liked the collar I previously designed, and this design collaboration began. I've always liked Corrie yarns, and have knitted them many times. So, I wanted to design a collar that brings out the goodness of them. After trying many swatches, I finally came up with the design of Sonata. I knitted Corrie Worsted and Wensley Worsted, did blocking, and wore it this time. And thought I wanted to design a collar that would make the most of the thickness, fluctuation, and matureness.
